Preppy Summer Finds.. Cheap!
On Father's Day, we (my brother & I) spent the day with our dad just relaxing and hanging out, running a few errands, it was a wonderful & chill day!

We made a trip to Kohl's and of course I ended up finding some things that I really like!
I purchased two things, both on sale & UNDER $15! Yay!
I bought an adorable pineapple printed tee for $13.99 & a super cute "skater" skirt (more of a circle skirt) - gray & white stripes for $11.99. Pictures & links attached below!

This shirt is WAAAAY cuter in person -- this picture does it zero justice!
The best part? Those already on sale prices were an additional 20% off so I ended up paying under $25 with tax... I'd call this a win! Now just to wait for my VERY FIRST pair of Jack Rogers to come in the mail!
$67 after shipping & tax as apposed to the usual $110! Thank the Good Lord for Amazon & 25% off promo codes ;) Can't wait for these babies to come in the mail!
First Blog Post.. EVER!
It feels weird writing a post basically to yourself hoping maybe someday someone will stumble upon your blog & hopefully want to stay. So here goes nothing...
A little bit about me:
Born (& partially raised) in the great state of Texas, moved to Virginia, moved to Tennessee, and now I'm back in Texas -- I like to consider Texas & Tennessee home (& I have emotional attachments to both).
I'm not a "dog/cat person" because I've grown up and been raised around both, there is no way I could label myself as one over the other! I love animals -- especially horses -- not a fan of bugs or slimy/crawly things because I don't like them touching me, but hey I don't even like humans touching me! Ha!
While I'm not very sporty or athletic myself, I very much enjoy watching sports, mostly baseball (go Rangers & Mets!).
I have some fetishes that your typical southern girl would have:
monograms, Lilly Pulitzer, summer, lake days, mason jars, front porches, "preppy" clothes (I like to think more along the lines of classic than preppy)
I'm sure as I update this blog (if I update this blog?) you (is there anybody out thereeee???) will come to know way more that you (imaginary readers ;)) ever wanted to know!
